I have been training with Kevin Kordish for the past 7 years. I began very reluctantly upon my husband's insistence in order to improve my muscle tone after my 42nd birthday. I was always an active adult, but after three children and no time for exercise, I found all my pants getting tighter as well as breathing hard after climbing just one flight of stairs! I hate to diet, but I enjoy eating and enjoying a cocktail or two. I never wanted to participate in personal training sessions because I was too intimidated by everyone else in the gym. I also had a fear of building too many muscles and not looking "feminine."
Kevin's professional but friendly manner quickly changed my mind about weight training and exercise in general. I am now much leaner and toned than 20 years ago even though I am the same weight. However, all of my clothes fit better, especially my pants and skirts. I do not have as much back pain either (if at all) since Kevin is a strong proponent of strengthening your core. Kevin was also instrumental in my recovery from knee surgery three years ago after I tore my right ACL, MCL and suffered a tibia fracture. I was allowed by my orthopedic surgeon to begin working out 3 weeks after surgery, and because of Kevin's knowledge and expertise in muscle function and anatomy, I lost very little muscle mass in my right leg during my lengthy recovery. I attribute my quick recovery to my training sessions that I continued to keep up along with physical therapy.
I am now a believer in weight training for women, particularly since I will be turning 50 this year. I am complimented often for my toned arms and legs, and I owe this to Kevin and his insistence upon weekly training sessions!

I have worked with several trainers in the last 15 years, and for the last 4-5 years, I have been working out with Kevin Kordish. Since Day 1, Kevin has been supportive and encouraging, working with me to attain my fitness goals. When we first started out together, I was nervous...I was insecure and embarrassed about how I looked. Since then, my body has changed, and for the better. I will never have the cover model body, but I am in great shape and feel and look better than ever. One of the things Kevin has always stressed is to change up your workout...don't do the same thing over and over. When we train, we do different exercises every session and work in different kinds of cardio, which helps keep the hour intense. Kevin also listens...I have had my share of pulled muscles over the years, and he takes the time to discuss the injury, understand how it happened, and develop an exercise plan that will prevent the injury from being further damaged.
On a personal note, my son who is now 17, has trained with Kevin in the past and has just recently started up again. My son is not athletically gifted, and is a little heavier than he would like and also has Aspergers. Kevin has been an amazing influence on my son; he is patient, understanding, positive and very supportive. Although exercise is my son's least favorite thing to do, he WON'T let Kevin down, and is now more motivated than ever to lose weight. Thank you, Kevin.
Kevin has changed the way I perceive my body and fitness level. Before, I wanted to look like all those women on the cover of "SELF" magazine, but now I understand I never will. I am strong, toned and in the best shape of my life, and I directly attribute all that to Kevin's guidance. He may only train me a few times a week, but he has taught me a lot about total body conditioning. Signing on with Kevin as a trainer was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Kevin Kordish has been my personal trainer for over 8 years now. I will say before working with Kevin, I hadn’t been in the gym much at all and was even a little intimated by it. I started training with Kevin after my neck surgery (C-4 & 5 fused) and the results I’ve witnessed through Kevin’s training that focuses on keeping my core strong have been phenomenal. I respect Kevin’s approach and professionalism. He worked with my doctor and me to understand my limits after surgery and put together an exercise program that would work best to get me strong again. We worked to strengthen my neck, shoulders and core so that I full motion and few limits physically. I have continued my training sessions with Kevin over the years because I know it’s the best way for me to stay healthy and keep up my exercise routine. I would recommend Kevin to absolutely anyone. He is very dedicated to his clients and trains each of us differently.
